The Lorenz Strange Attractor Room

This room is filled with 24 quilts primarily from my Strange Attractor Series.

The idea for this room began in 2014 when I hung twelve pieced tops I had made in the past year, overlapping on a wall 8 feet high by 14 feet wide. I was speechless—tears ran down my face. The impact was much more than any single piece could provide and a dream was born. Twelve years later, the dream came to fruition.

The room contains quilts which I made between 2013 and 2021. They range in size from 20 inches square to 80 inches square. Most have been exhibited individually, and as single pieces have won multiple awards.

The Strange Attractor Series draws its name from Chaos Theory and mathematics.
